Debloat the Gadnic PROJ100W
Google TV 14 · 20 apps on the list · tested on a real set
The Gadnic PROJ100W projector from Argentina has a built-in 4K Google TV stick. It ships with telemetry and remote management, ads and personalization, factory test apps, extras that do not belong on a projector stick, and a voice assistant. The list has 20 apps.
On this unit the setup wizard holds the saved Wi-Fi, and turning it off too early drops the projector's Home. Forgetting and rejoining the network first fixes that. TidyTV turns the rest off from your phone with a backup first and deletes nothing. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.
Apps TidyTV can turn off on the Gadnic PROJ100W
Grouped as the tested list groups them. In the app each one has a switch, so you choose. Apps marked your call are extras the list leaves on.

Good to know on this model
- Turning off the setup wizard gives the home screen back but breaks casting with Chromecast built-in.
- If the setup wizard holds your Wi-Fi, forget and rejoin the network in Settings before turning it off.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will casting still work on my Gadnic projector?
Yes, unless you turn off the setup wizard. That one gives back the home screen but breaks Chromecast built-in casting.
Will my Wi-Fi drop?
Not if you forget and rejoin the network in Settings first. Turning off the setup wizard early deletes a network saved during first setup.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns the apps back on and puts the stock home screen back in one tap.
