Debloat the Grundig Android UHD TV

This Grundig Android UHD TV, built by Arcelik for Turkey, ships with telemetry and install tracking, plus manufacturer content, ads and leftovers. The list also has apps you may not use. There are 24 apps on it and the TV uses the classic Android TV home.
The list was checked with a restart. The same packages stayed off and nothing turned back on. The Input key, the remote, Bluetooth pairing and the backlight keep working. Good to know on this model
- The TV service crashes if one MediaTek home screen widget helper is turned off, so it stays on.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will the Input button still work on my Grundig TV?
Yes. The app that handles it looks like bloat, but TidyTV keeps it on.
Do the apps come back after a restart?
No. The same apps were still off after a restart on this TV.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns the apps back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
