Debloat the Nokia Streaming Box 8010

This Nokia box ships with ad tech, telemetry and feedback services, content rows and partner auto-installs, plus leftover factory and test apps. It also carries a preinstalled app called Hoppr that runs from start-up and asks for access to the microphone, contacts and location.
Unlike the Nokia 8000, this model accepts the normal switch-off. The list was checked after two restarts: every app stayed off, and Home and all your apps still worked. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- Network debugging stays on after a restart here, so switch it off when you are done.
- This is the 8010. The Nokia Streaming Box 8000 behaves differently and has its own list.
- The stock home screen is replaced by a new one, so pick a clean home screen in the app first.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
