Debloat the OK. AI PONT
Android TV 11 · 22 apps on the list · tested on a real set
This Changhong-built set ships with a Homwee vendor layer and content recognition from Anoki, which tracks what you watch. The list also covers ad and recommendation rows on the home screen and preloaded vendor apps. It is a low-memory set with about 0.9 GB.
It was tested on one set, the same day and through two restarts. Every app stayed off. HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV, Live TV and YouTube and Netflix playback all worked, and so did the remote's Input, Settings and app buttons. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.
Apps TidyTV can turn off on the OK. AI PONT
Grouped as the tested list groups them. In the app each one has a switch, so you choose. Apps marked your call are extras the list leaves on.

What always stays on
- Firmware update services and remote key handling
- Live TV, inputs, remote pairing and picture settings (the MediaTek services)
- The Google connectivity helper
- The factory service
Good to know on this model
- The firmware update app crashes at every start. That is a problem in the firmware, not caused by the list.
- The setup helper stays on because it owns the set's saved Wi-Fi network.
- This was tested for one day, not a long soak.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Do the remote's buttons still work?
Yes. The Input, Settings, Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video buttons all kept working in testing.
Does the set stop tracking what I watch?
The list turns off the Anoki content recognition and the Homwee telemetry services.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
