Debloat the Sharp AQUOS TVE21F
Android TV 14 · 30 apps on the list · tested on a real set
This UK Sharp set is built on a CVTE and MediaTek platform. It ships with manufacturer telemetry, recommendation rows, retail and partner plumbing, factory and test apps, and unused preloaded apps. Package names say little on this firmware, so each entry was checked first.
It was applied and verified in October 2026, with screenshots after each batch. Live TV, HDMI 1, the Play Store and SmartTube playback all worked. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.
Apps TidyTV can turn off on the Sharp AQUOS TVE21F
Grouped as the tested list groups them. In the app each one has a switch, so you choose. Apps marked your call are extras the list leaves on.

How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will Live TV and HDMI still work on my Sharp?
Yes. Live TV and HDMI 1 were checked after the list was applied.
Will I lose the channel scan?
No. The channel scan app is kept, along with USB media and the remote hotkeys.
Can I undo it?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on in one tap. Nothing is deleted.
