Debloat the BYINTEK Love U4
Android 9 · 15 apps on the list · tested on a real set
The BYINTEK Love U4 projector has a Zeasn ad service that can install apps silently, and a Zeasn store. It also has preloaded apps, a store called RuStore that comes back after every restart, phone and setup leftovers, wired phone casting and extra Google apps. The list has 15 apps.
The projector settings, keystone and focus, the TV service, HDMI input and Miracast are all kept. So is the AirPlay, Chromecast and DLNA receiver. TidyTV turns the rest off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything. Apps TidyTV can turn off on the BYINTEK Love U4
Grouped as the tested list groups them. In the app each one has a switch, so you choose. Apps marked your call are extras the list leaves on.
Zeasn ads and store The ad service is a persistent system app with permission to install apps silently 2
Android starts it at boot even when disabled. Hiding it (optional, needs root, see README) is what keeps it from running.

RuStore is a normal app, but /system/bin/sk_install_yingke_apps.sh reinstalls it from /system/bak at every boot when it is missing (YouTube, Netflix and Chrome too) 1
Disabled, it stays installed and the script leaves it alone; uninstalled, it is back after the next restart.

Good to know on this model
- The firmware reinstalls RuStore at every boot if it goes missing, as it also does with YouTube, Netflix and Chrome.
- The factory test apps are kept because they may hold calibration data.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will AirPlay and Chromecast still work on my Love U4?
Yes. The receiver that handles AirPlay, Chromecast and DLNA is kept. Only wired phone casting over USB is on the list.
Will it stop apps installing themselves?
It turns off the Zeasn ad service, the one that can install apps silently, along with the Zeasn store.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
