This OnePlus Y Series 43 inch set is built by Skyworth. It ships with Skyworth auto-installs, a retail demo mode and setup leftovers, telemetry and background services, and recommendation rows on the home screen. The list also covers factory test tools and unused streaming apps.
It was lived with for about two days after the change. Stock home, Live TV, HDMI switching, the Bluetooth voice remote and audio all kept working. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- The factory testing tools are turned off here and caused no trouble over several days.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will the voice button still work on my OnePlus TV?
Yes. Google Assistant is kept, and the Bluetooth voice remote kept working in testing.
Does casting still work?
Yes. Chromecast built in is kept.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
