The OnePlus TV D00 ships with OnePlus and HeyTap extras: phone link, a smart home panel, a Bluetooth speaker mode, a file browser and a content launcher page. It also has the BrowseHere web browser, Google's feedback reporter, and the stock Google TV home with its recommendation service.
The list keeps Google Assistant, Chromecast and the streaming apps on, along with the factory test apps and the remote-update service. A setting in developer options can make every app restart when you leave it, so check it is off. TidyTV turns the extras off from a phone on the same Wi-Fi, after saving a backup. Nothing is uninstalled, and one tap restores them.

Good to know on this model
- Developer options can have a setting called Don't keep activities. When it is on, every app restarts when you leave it, so check it is off.
- If no other home screen is set, turning off the stock home makes Home open Settings. Set a new home screen before you turn off the stock one.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
