This 32-inch Sharp set is built by Skyworth and runs Google TV 14 with about 1 GB of memory. It ships with telemetry and activation services, Android ad and personalization services, content and recommendations, cleaners, manuals and unused apps. A memory pass also switches off six more apps, because the set was swapping.

It was applied and checked on one TV, with a restart afterwards. Live TV, HDMI and YouTube and Netflix playback worked, and the real remote's buttons did too. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model

Debugging was only offered as Wireless debugging on this set.
The Wi-Fi network from first setup belonged to the setup helper. Forget it and rejoin in Settings before that helper is switched off, or the TV drops off Wi-Fi.
Searching for content by voice fails once the stock home screen is off. Simple commands like 'open YouTube' still work.
Private DNS works, but one ISP buffered with AdGuard and not with Cloudflare.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Will voice search still work?

Partly. Commands like 'open YouTube' work. Searching for content by voice fails once the stock home screen is off.

Will the remote keys still work?

Yes. Home, Input, Settings and the app buttons worked on the real remote with the key helpers on.

Does it have a way back?

Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on in one tap, and puts the old home screen back if you changed it.
