The TCL 43C645 reports itself as a Smart TV Pro and runs Android TV 11 with the Google TV home screen. It ships with TCL telemetry and promo services, a TCL dashboard and message box, a retail demo sticker, an overseas app showcase, and content rows. It also has a Wuaki app, Google's movies app and a calendar sync, plus an optional screen mirroring service.
The list was tested on a real unit in three batches, with a screenshot after each. Ethernet stayed up, and Home, the D-pad, the Sources menu for HDMI, Netflix and Home from Netflix all worked, including after a reboot. Private DNS kept working. TidyTV turns these apps off from your phone over the same Wi-Fi, after saving a backup, and deletes nothing.

What always stays on
- Voice: the TCL assistant and Google's voice service stay on, by choice.
- The Cast receiver stays on, by choice.
- Live TV (com.tcl.tv) and the TCL tuner and HDMI input services stay on, so the Sources menu still works.
- Remote pairing, the keyboard, input sources and TCL system settings are never turned off by this list.
Good to know on this model
- Once the stock home is off, the setup wizard would take over Home. That is why the list turns the setup wizard off as well.
- The firmware updater is off on this list. Turn it back on in the app if you want TCL firmware updates.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will the voice button still work?
Yes. Voice is kept by choice on this list, so the TCL assistant and Google's voice service stay on.
Does casting still work?
Yes for the Cast receiver, which stays on. Miracast screen mirroring is turned off, so mirroring from a phone will not work until you switch it back on.
Will it stop the ads on the home screen?
It turns off the TCL promo and messaging apps, the content rows, the TCL home-row tweaks and the overseas app showcase. Those are the home screen promos the list covers.
