Debloat the Xiaomi MiTV-AESP0

The Xiaomi MiTV-AESP0 is a stick on Android TV 9. It ships with Alphonso automatic content recognition, which tracks what you watch, plus Xiaomi and Google telemetry. It also has PatchWall and sponsored content rows, partner app auto-installs, and preloaded apps such as DAZN, Red Bull TV and Google Duo.
The voice assistant, Chromecast, Mi Cast and firmware updates stay on. The notes do not describe a full test of the list on this stick, so check the remote after the change. TidyTV turns these apps off from a phone on the same Wi-Fi, after saving a backup. Nothing is uninstalled, and one tap turns them back on.

Good to know on this model
- After the stock home is turned off, Home on the remote may do nothing. Check it with the real remote.
- Gboard is already the default keyboard, so the keyboard needs no change.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Will the voice button still work on my Xiaomi MiTV-AESP0?
