This Redmi TV runs China-market firmware. It ships with Xiaomi telemetry, quality reports and cloud control, ads, promoted content and shopping, and background services and preloaded apps. A startup ad is one of the things the list removes. Each app on the list has its own switch in the app, so you decide what goes.
The list was applied in two batches, and the owner checked Home and the voice remote after each. States held after standby, and the owner reported no startup ad after a full restart. It has not been lived with for several days. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

What always stays on

Good to know on this model
- Keep the stock Xiaomi home screen on. This firmware only lets certain home screens take over, and the standard one did not.
- The network debugging port closes at every restart, so turn it on again in Settings after each power cycle.
- Developer mode is unlocked by pressing OK on the product model seven times, and debugging is under Account and Security.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Will the voice remote still work on my Redmi TV?

Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on in one tap. Nothing is deleted.
