This Panasonic set is built by Skyworth. It ships with a retail demo, shop promos, auto-installs and first-run leftovers, plus Skyworth content, ads and telemetry. The stock home screen showed a sponsored Daily Play row. The list is long, with 36 apps, and the storage was 90 percent full before the change.
It was checked after one batch with remote keys and screenshots. Stock home, Live TV, HDMI switching and YouTube playback all worked. It had only hours of real use, so treat it as a starting point. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

What always stays on
- Live TV and the Inputs menu (Skyworth Live TV and the MediaTek input service)
- HDMI 1 to 3, AV and the tuner
- The setup helper, because it owns the saved Wi-Fi network
Good to know on this model
- The setup helper stays on. Switching it off would delete the saved Wi-Fi network and cut the connection.
- USB debugging alone does not open the network port. The separate network debugging switch and a restart did.
- The TV does not answer ping, so a failed ping does not mean it is off.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will Live TV and HDMI still work?
Yes. Live TV, HDMI switching and the Inputs menu all kept working in testing.
Will it stop the sponsored row on the home screen?
Yes. The sponsored Daily Play row went away in testing.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
