This is a China-market Skyworth set running Coocaa OS on Android 8. It ships with ads and telemetry, preloaded apps, a voice assistant and updates, and Coocaa extras. The list turns most of these off by choice. Each app on the list has its own switch in the app, so you decide what goes.
It was tested in October 2026. Coocaa OS does not let you pick a new home screen the usual way, so the new home goes in through a small shim. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- Coocaa OS has no home screen chooser and ignores the usual command, so a new home screen goes in through a small homepage shim.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Will Live TV and the inputs still work?
Yes. The Skyworth TV and inputs service is kept.
Can I switch to a new home screen?
Yes, through a small homepage shim, because this firmware has no home screen chooser.
Can I undo it?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on in one tap. Nothing is deleted.
