This Skyworth set runs Google TV on Android TV 14. It ships with Skyworth content, ads, demos and preloads, telemetry and an after-sale app that can push APKs at start, plus Android ad services. The list also covers casting and local media apps that this owner does not use.

It was checked on the TV in October 2026. Live TV, HDMI, Chromecast and Assistant are kept on. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything. The phone and TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi, and the TV asks you once to allow debugging.

build-and-install.sh disabled launcherx as Home was handed over; setupwraith applied in a FORCE_SETUPWRAITH=1 pass after the connected network had been forgotten + re-joined — dumpsys events show Globe1524 re-added under android.uid.system; the stale setupwraith networks (Globe1524masters etc.) went with it, harmlessly).

Good to know on this model

Network debugging can close on its own and show as offline. Reconnect to the TV if it drops.
If you forget and re-join Wi-Fi, the TV may get a new address.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Will the voice button still work on my Skyworth SW-22SA?

Yes. Google Assistant is kept on purpose.

Does casting still work?

Yes. Chromecast is kept. The unused local media apps are turned off.

Can I get the old home screen back?

Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap.
