Android TV 11 · 42 apps on the list · tested on a real set

This UK and EU set runs Android TV 11 and ships with TCL analytics, home screen recommendation rows, partner app attribution and a partner app auto installer. TCL also pushes content to the home screen at boot, sends messages and promos, and includes a retail demo sticker, a TGuard cleaner that tracks device use, a TCL account centre and TCL IoT.

The list was applied in six batches with a screenshot after each, then verified over three reboots with an identical final state. Wi-Fi, the D-pad, the Inputs menu, Live TV, the Play Store and the remote's app, Input and Settings buttons all worked. TidyTV saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Streaming apps and preloads, off by choice on this unit: reinstalled from the Play Store as wanted. All reversible; tools/restore.sh re-enables them. Boot test 2026-10-21: after two reboots everything below stayed disabled EXCEPT com.google.android.videos, which the firmware re-enables on every boot, right after `pm disable-user`. Leave it enabled and let the launcher hide its tile (hidden_apps), per the boot-re-enable rule. com.tcl.usercenter stays off here, unlike on the Android 9 RTD2851 sets (see examples/tcl-beyondtv-rt2851).

Good to know on this model

The owner used the TV Bro browser, so the preinstalled browsers are on the list. Switch them back on in the app if you use them.
One TCL service can switch partner apps back on at boot. The list turns it off.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Will the voice button still work on my TCL 43P615?

Not with the default list. It turns off Google Assistant, the TCL voice service and the microphone manager. Switch them back on in the app if you use voice.

Does casting still work?

The list turns off Miracast screen mirroring and the MagiConnect companion. Switch them back on in the app if you cast that way.

Can I get the old home screen back?

Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the stock Android TV home screen back.
