Questions
Will the voice button still work on my TCL 43S5400A?
Not with the default list. It turns off Google Assistant, which the mic button uses. Switch it back on in the app if you use voice.
Will TV updates still work?
Yes. The firmware updater is kept on purpose.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the stock Android TV home screen back.
