This Italian TCL runs Google TV on Android 11 with 2 GB of memory. It ships with TCL content pushed to the home screen at boot, a TCL Channel browser, TCL Live FAST channels, a store demo sticker, a message box, TCL analytics and partner setup. Extras include a WebView test browser, games, a screen reader and an e-manual.

The list was applied and verified on a real unit over Ethernet, with a reboot. TidyTV turns the apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything, so each one can be switched back on. TCL's TV, input and remote apps are kept.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Will the voice button still work on my TCL 55C725?

This list does not turn off the voice assistant. The microphone manager and assistant LED are kept.

Does casting still work?

Chromecast is kept. TCL's T-Cast phone casting is on the list and is switched off.

Can I get the old home screen back?

Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the stock Google TV home screen back.
