This US TCL runs Google TV on Android 11. It ships with TCL analytics, silent installs of partner apps, TCL account sign-in nags and an agreement screen. It also has TCL Live FAST channels, a TCL TV+ content app, a web video portal, a memory cleaner, Works with Alexa and an e-manual.
The list was applied in three batches on a real unit. Home, the remote's Input panel and Live TV with all four HDMI ports kept working. After a reboot every app stayed off. TidyTV saves a backup first and never deletes anything, so each app can be switched back on.

Good to know on this model
- Once the stock home is off, the remote's Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video buttons do nothing until key remaps are set up.
- Check which service owns your saved Wi-Fi before turning off the setup app.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will the voice button still work on my TCL 65Q650G?
Yes. The mic button keeps working with the stock home screen off.
Will the remote's Netflix button still work?
Not by default once the stock home is off. The remote's Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video buttons need key remaps.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the stock Google TV home screen back.
