This UK and Europe TCL runs Google TV on Android 14 and ships with Samba TV, which tracks what is on screen, TCL analytics, log upload and account sign-in nags. It also has TCL Live FAST channels, content pushed at boot, push messages and promos, retail demo and hotel mode apps, an e-manual and a cleaner.

The list was applied on a real 75 inch set. Home, the new launcher and its dock apps worked afterwards. TidyTV turns the apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything, so each app can be switched back on. Chromecast, AirPlay and the game bar were kept.

Good to know on this model

This owner uses SmartTube, so YouTube and Google Play Movies are on the list. Keep them on if you use them.
Switching the stock home off empties the Accounts and profiles list. The accounts stay stored.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Will the voice button still work on my TCL 75C845X2?

This list does not mention turning off the voice assistant, so the mic button is left as it is.

Does casting still work?

Chromecast and AirPlay are kept. Miracast and TCL's T-Cast phone mirroring are on the list and are switched off.

Can I get the old home screen back?

Yes. Restore everything turns every app back on and puts the stock Google TV home screen back.
