This US TCL Google TV ships with TCL promos, push messages and a retail and hotel demo mode, plus telemetry and Android 14 ad and privacy services. It also has Alexa and AirPlay parts, streaming apps preloaded by the US firmware, and some extras nobody asked for.

The first 35 apps were switched off on one set, which was rebooted, and all of them stayed off. The last two were added later for a custom home screen and not yet checked after a restart. This is about a day of use. TidyTV turns these apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

The last two apps on the list were not rebooted yet.
Alexa and AirPlay are off by the owner's choice.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Can I get the old home screen back on my TCL 75-inch T7 Series?

Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap. TidyTV only switches apps off, so nothing is ever deleted.

Will the game bar still work?

Yes. The TCL game bar is kept on purpose for this 144 Hz gaming set.

Does TidyTV delete anything on my TCL 75-inch T7 Series?

No. It turns apps off with Android's own setting, saves a backup first and checks each one. You can turn any app back on with its switch.
