This TCL set, sold in Brazil with UK firmware, ships with TCL telemetry and analytics, content rows, ads and promos, and background services you do not need. It also has several preloaded apps. One app that looks like analytics is actually the broadcast interactive-TV engine, so it is not on the list.

The list was built for this firmware family and keeps the remote, input menu and mic keys working. com.mirakulo.astrotv.service is Ginga, the ISDB-Tb broadcast interactive-TV engine (AstroTVService, com.tcl.tv.ginga.PERMISSION), not analytics 1

TvSettings reads Enable_ginga=false on this set, so it frees nothing here; where Ginga is on, disabling it turns broadcasters' interactive apps off.

The TCL setup app is on the list and also handles channel scanning. Keep it on if you still need to scan channels.
Firmware updates come through Google Play Services on this set.

How to do it

Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.

Questions

Can I get the old home screen back on my TCL Smart TV Pro?

Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap. TidyTV only switches apps off, so nothing is ever deleted.

Can I still scan for channels?

Only if you keep the TCL setup app on, because it also handles channel installation. Switch it back on in the app before scanning.

Does TidyTV delete anything on my TCL Smart TV Pro?

No. It turns apps off with Android's own setting, saves a backup first and checks each one. You can turn any app back on with its switch.
