This is the China-market firmware, without Google Play or the Sony promo rows found on other Sony sets. It does have Sony usage and bug-report uploaders, viewing context providers, shop demo mode, help tiles, camera apps for a camera this model lacks, a JD smart-service app and hotel and business packages.
The Dangbei home screen is kept as the fallback. TidyTV turns the listed apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything. Any app can be switched back on, and restore puts everything back in one tap.

Good to know on this model
- The ad surfaces on this firmware are mostly the Dangbei home, its store and the preinstalled content apps, which are not on the list.
- The owner used a third-party home screen on this TV.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Will it stop the ads on the home screen?
Only partly. This firmware has no Sony ad rows to remove. The Dangbei home and content apps are left alone.
Does casting still work?
Yes. HappyCast is kept. This set has no Google Cast.
Can I get the old home screen back?
Yes. The Dangbei home screen is never turned off, and Restore everything turns every app back on.
