This Redmi Smart TV from China ships with Xiaomi telemetry, ads and push, preloaded apps, Mi Home and a cleaner. Its standby screensaver also shows a carousel of ads downloaded from the internet. Each app has its own switch in the app, so you decide which ones to turn off.
It was disabled and lived with on 22 October, and the screensaver-ad app was seen running while an ad showed. TidyTV saves a backup first and never deletes anything. What always stays on

Good to know on this model
- The screensaver ads are a plain app with their own carousel, so the usual screensaver setting does not stop them.
- Re-enable the TV manager if the voice assistant stops opening apps.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
