This Xiaomi TV ships with telemetry, content, ads and recommendations, and a cleaner that uses Firebase analytics. It also has preloaded apps and a setup wizard that takes Home once the stock home is off. Each app has its own switch in the app, so you decide which ones to turn off.
Apps were switched off in batches of one to seven with a screenshot after each, with a new home screen installed. Inputs switch to HDMI, Prime Video plays and Sideloading works. This is a first-day report. TidyTV turns these apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- Some remote buttons only worked on the stock home and need a key service once it is off.
- The setup wizard is switched off to stop it claiming Home.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Can I get the old home screen back on my Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 75?
Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap. TidyTV only switches apps off, so nothing is ever deleted.
Will the remote's buttons still work?
Most do. A few that the stock home answered need a small key service once it is off.
