This 32-inch Mi TV ships with Xiaomi telemetry and a bug-report uploader, promotional content and stock-home recommendation feeds. The list is short, 11 apps. It was applied on 19 October and the apps were still off on 21 October. Home, the clock and navigation were checked on the TV. Live TV, the TV input services, the keyboard, Bluetooth and update settings stay on. TidyTV turns these apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- Assistant, Gallery and the media browser are off by owner choice. Keep them on if you use them.
- Install the new home screen and set its clock screensaver before switching off the old photo screensaver.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Can I get the old home screen back on my Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 32-inch?
Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap. TidyTV only switches apps off, so nothing is ever deleted.
Will the voice button still work?
Not with this list. Assistant is off by the owner's choice, so switch it back on in the app.
