This low-memory EU Xiaomi TV ships with Xiaomi and Google telemetry, PatchWall, content rows and sponsored rows, and extra background services and apps. Two old Android TV home screens are still installed. Each app has its own switch in the app, so you decide which ones to turn off.
No apps were switched off before this list, and every app on it exists on this build. Both stock home screens were disabled and Home kept resolving to the new one. TidyTV saves a backup first. TidyTV turns these apps off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Good to know on this model
- Live TV closes itself after about 25 seconds on an HDMI port with nothing plugged in.
- Screenshots of Live TV and HDMI come back empty on this firmware.
- ADB over 5 GHz Wi-Fi can stall for a while.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
Questions
Can I get the old home screen back on my Xiaomi MiTV-MSSP2?
Yes. Restore everything in the app turns every app back on and puts the old home screen back in one tap. TidyTV only switches apps off, so nothing is ever deleted.
Why does Live TV drop back to Home?
On an HDMI port with nothing connected, it closes itself after about 25 seconds. That is the TV's own behaviour.
Does TidyTV delete anything on my Xiaomi MiTV-MSSP2?
No. It turns apps off with Android's own setting, saves a backup first and checks each one. You can turn any app back on with its switch.
