Debloat the Philips TPM191E
Android TV 12 · 21 apps on the list · tested on a real set
This European Philips set runs Android TV 12 and ships with telemetry, a retail demo and Philips promotions. The list also covers apps this owner does not use. Entries shared with other Philips lists were checked against this TV. Each app on the list has its own switch in the app, so you decide what goes.
The list leaves Alexa power on and off, Chromecast and firmware updates alone. The Freeview apps come switched off from the factory on this unit. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.
Apps TidyTV can turn off on the Philips TPM191E

What always stays on
- Alexa power on and off
- Chromecast built in
- Firmware update services
- The service behind the Sources drawer, which breaks without it
- The Wi-Fi speaker audio service, left on
Good to know on this model
- The Sources drawer stops working if the TV's base service is switched off, so TidyTV keeps it on.
How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
