Debloat the Hisense SmartTV 4K FFM (Google TV 12)
Google TV 12 · 17 apps on the list · tested on a real set
This Hisense SmartTV 4K FFM from Mongolia runs Google TV 12. It ships with Hisense telemetry, Google tracking and feedback, preloaded apps, store and hotel demo mode, a first-time setup flow and streaming apps that can go. The list has 17 apps in groups.
It was applied in four batches with a restart and a screenshot after each, with a normal boot and no crashes. The HDMI input, Wi-Fi and the remote's buttons kept working. TidyTV turns these off from your phone with a backup first and deletes nothing. TidyTV turns these off from your phone over Wi-Fi, saves a backup first and never deletes anything.

Google TV setup wizard 1
Its RecoveryActivity claims HOME and beats the new launcher once com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx is disabled; `pm disable` of that one component is refused, so the whole package has to go for a launcher swap. It also owns saved Wi-Fi networks, so check first: `dumpsys wifi | grep -o 'cname=[^ ]*'`. If the network the TV is actually connected to belongs to setupwraith, forget and re-join it in Settings before running this, or the disable deletes that network and takes the TV off Wi-Fi and ADB. Needs FORCE_SETUPWRAITH=1 to pass disable.sh's Wi-Fi guard.

How to do it
- Turn on developer options On the TV, open Settings › System › About and select the build number 7 times. Then turn on USB debugging, and Network debugging if you see it.
- Tap your TV in TidyTV Your phone finds the TV on the Wi-Fi. Tick "Always allow" and press Allow when the TV asks.
- Review, then tidy TidyTV saves a backup, shows these apps with switches, and turns off the ones you pick, checking each one.
